After a little over a year from their inception, Owl Be Damned drops their much anticipated debut album, 10:01. The 10-track work captures the San Diego band’s depth. Drawing on such influences as Bad Brains, Melvins, Drive Like Jehu, Cows, and Brainiac. Owl Be Damned has a sound that defies singular description. All at once heavy, mathy, and raw, 10:01 reflects the band’s ability to walk the line between cerebral and carnal.
